Just a Latte

After a dinner that looks great but tastes ordinary at Manmaru Robatayaki & Bar, I decided to head on 1 level down to have some coffee hoping to uplift my spirits back.

I went for the latte and paid the cash at the counter and decided not to further get anything to go with my coffee. The pastries that were on display were few in numbers anyway.

Artistry is the third cafe by Artisan Coffee and I've tried it once before at Bangsar Village (if I'm not mistaken). Can't remember much about it but for this place, it's self-service all the way. From ordering till pick up, just like Starbucks.

All around the premise lies wooden fixtures that acclaims the same as I recall at Bangsar Village. A long wooden plank-like structure to act like tables with bar stools for you to sit on. Very organic. And not the most comfortable of places to sit on but it'll do. There's more comfy chairs with backrests and better looking tables at the "outside" area where it's safe for smokers to have a puff. However, I stayed put as the only lone person sitting "indoors" at one of those bar stools.

Coffee seems to be dearer than your normal cafes with the total amounting to RM12.70. Nonetheless, the coffee was nice to drink and the milk coffee ratio were excellent. Rich, smooth and creamy without sacrificing the coffee taste.

I had bad phone reception at that place and with an already problematic phone that hangs from time to time and restarts occasionally whenever I try posting instagram photos, I just kinda gave up after modifying my photo for about 6 times.

I left around 9pm feeling empty and wishing the enthusiastic feeling I had before I came would come back.

Like I said earlier.....RM12.70. All for a cup of coffee.

Final Verdict:
6/10. This don't look like a place that I could chill for a long time should I be sitting on the bar stool as I have a really bad back and sitting on those for long period makes me very uncomfortable and hard to recover from. The coffee is slightly more expensive and I would need to carry my own coffee to the table. LOL. Well, that don't bother me much.
