Item(s) Ordered (Photos taken as inconspicuous as possible with my phone):
Greenhouse mocktail and Organic Scramble all-day breakfast
I didn't intend to move out of my house when Sunday night arrived but after delightfully receiving a message from my friend that she's free to meet up for coffee after her dinner, I jumped at the chance even though I was half awake from the nap before the ding of my mobile phone went off.

So I got dressed and headed to the area which is Uptown where initially I didn't intend to eat anything or just go for something light since I was out the whole of that Sunday and only finished eating things around 5pm. But since time was there to spare till I'm meeting up with her, I decided to head on to Lafayette to try after one day when I tried Frisson at this area. As I was walking on my way towards Lafayette, I spotted NARA Kitchen & Co. and it intrigued me to walk in to try.

The place has a minimalistic settings and looks more of a slightly upper class restaurant rather than a cafe. But it most certainly is a cafe and ordering needs to be done at the counter. Menus were placed on tables all around for you to survey what would you like to have before moving to the counter for your order. I decided to go for a mocktail by the name of Greenhouse instead of coffee since I'm planning to take coffee later on and also ordered the Organic Scramble on their All-Day Breakfast mains menu. After paying for it and adopting the number to identify, I decided to sit at the back of the cafe where it's near to the counter. With the white walls and the very white interior features, it certainly brighten the place up a lot hence not much of lighting was needed for them to illuminate the place and so there aren't many lights around.

The waiting period for the drinks seemed to be of moderate level while the Organic Scramble I ordered took a bit of a waiting which I find to be more than I anticipated. It didn't take much effort to view the pleasantness of the drink and the food as both are very pleasing to the eyes.

As with the green color connoted into the name of the drink, the liquid beverage was as green as it could be masquerading the kiwis within it as unsuspecting as it is. It's contained in a bulbous wine glass with a sugarcane stick prodding and protruding right out of the drinking glass and holds no straw to sip on. And so the only way that can only be drank which the method I employed was sipping it like a wine although needing to chomp down kiwis would be a challenge as the sugarcane stick proved of no help in scooping it out of the glass. Though most of the fruit within may not made it to my mouth, the drink proved to be predominantly tasting of kiwi and nothing else. The listed ingredients of this drink includes lemon, soda and also the mint garnish aside from the already stated ingredients earlier. It's made evident that this drink managed to amuse my parched throat.

As for the Organic Scramble, it's made up of the scrambled organic eggs decorated with snippets of caviar and tobiko or otherwise known as the fish roe, 2 pieces of buttered brioche and some tempura mushrooms. The scrambled eggs I admit was a little bland and they probably had the idea of the caviar and the tobiko providing the saltiness in taste to go along with the eggs but the proportion of it is just exceedingly overwhelming till it offered little of value in seasoning the eggs. The buttered brioche tasted as it intended to be and was good in taste but what my favorite of this dish would be the tempura mushroom. It lit up my taste buds with glistens of savory and salty taste, uplifting it to want more and more like crisps. There's also a sauce dish of forest berries compote which goes well with the brioche and tasted good too without being too sweet even if you eat it by itself.

I finished in a hurry to meet up with my friend after the heavy rain subsided outside and was given the green light to go.

Total Wallet Damage:
RM45.60. Greenhouse costing RM14 while the Organic Scramble amounts to RM29. There's 6% GST involved and no service charge.

Final Verdict:
5.5/10. Though the place looks nice and the drink is not bad, I feel like more could be improved on the food and the service of things. But then again, Organic Scramble isn't something that I saw that was commented at all anywhere and so that probably may not be a strengthening dish for them.
