Rebel's Breakfast Platter and Chai Latte (Iced)
DISCLAIMER: This was not a lone dining experience.

I met up with a friend of mine after asking her does she want to try Frisson's Salmon Curry Fish Head with me one day when she and her husband is free since she said she loves curry fish head and so later that evening, out of nowhere she invited me for dinner and I eagerly head on down to meet her. We were at the Strands area that night and during the nights, I couldn't find anything nice to try out after scouting around for an hour and so me and her head on down to the other side where Sunway Giza is since it seems more happening there.

We ended up walking in to Rellions Coffee Bar to try out. I ordered their Breakfast Platter and the Chai Latte in ice. After a sit down and some chatter with her, my breakfast platter arrived firsthand before her pasta did. But even with the great company, it didn't fray my attention away from their slightly longer than I expect waiting time for my food to arrive. Imagine if I think my breakfast platter was long, my friend's pasta was even longer.

The presentation of the platter gives me the impression of a less caring way of plating the customer's food. However, the foot long sausage captured my attention on that dish the most since it looks the most impressive. It turned out to be the best thing about the dish. Other than that, the other things in the breakfast platter were pretty average in gustation with the exception of the Toasted Poppy Seed Bread. That was slightly above average. Other items that were on the platter includes pork bacon (which this wasn't as gussy as I would love it to), the sauteed cherry tomatoes and mushrooms and the scrambled eggs with some rocket leaves on top.

The Chai Latte Ice was better than my meal and quelled my thirst accordingly. Chai taste was strong enough, milk efficient in the mixture and ice enough to cool the whole drink off. That at least made a better impression while my friend didn't quite like her pasta but chowed down the whole thing anyway to cure the hunger pangs.

Total Wallet Damage:
Erm, I'm not sure. I didn't keep the receipt. But I know the breakfast platter costs RM25.

Final Verdict:
5/10. Not as impressive as I want it to be. Even though the confusing partial revolving door was an elegant fixture with the charm of 19th century, this place failed to allure me.
